A princess from the planet Xena who ditched her duties to play with Pokémon - that's Hima! Back home, she's Sierra, the heir to the throne of the universe. But after billions of years of the royal blues, she took to watching over other worlds in her Dimensional Mirror, and one day it landed on a particular lad on a particular planet -- and that was Ash Ketchum from the world of Pokémon. This young man seemed to have all sorts of fun things going on around him, and so she figured if she kept watching, she'd definitely have no end of entertainment.Eventually just watching wasn't enough! She begged her mother, the queen and creator of their universe, to let her explore this world for one hundred years - on the condition that when she comes back, she'll dedicate herself to being a princess, one hundred percent. But for now, she's having a blast traveling with her Pikachu, Sparkles and other Pokémon, experiencing as much as she can of a world full of Pokémon and humans!

A princess's story starts with "once upon a time".

And she created children, to rule each planet under her.After millions of billions of billions of children, she created "Sierra" - her heir. Her greatest creation, the ultimate princess.Sierra, of course, got her own planet like everyone else -- Ascera. And she would be trained from a young age, for billions of years, everything she needed to rule it, and eventually, the universe. Natural sciences, magic, theories of philosophy and law, were just a few of the things in Xena's curriculum for her children. Sierra did all this as well, however, she was treated differently.All of Sierra's many, many siblings could see that their mother considered Sierra a cut above them. Sierra, their second youngest sibling, would someday be the one they would have to bow to. Sierra, who was special, talented, and Mother's magnum opus. Resentment soon grew among many of them.But Sierra hadn't asked for any of this.All day, every day, for millennia on end was studying and training. While her siblings spent time in lessons together, she was sometimes shuffled away for more intensive, specialized studies. What the other princesses and princes saw as special treatment was, to Sierra, hellish isolation.Sierra didn't resent their mother for this -- in fact, she greatly admired Xena's work for the people of their universe. To her, Xena was a benevolent, competent queen who worked tirelessly to care for the people by making sure everything in the universe ran smoothly. But Sierra soon grew tired of all the pressure, the stress of having to someday be the caretaker of an entire universe. She started to run away from her tutors and skip out on her lessons to play in the forests and rivers.Meanwhile, her older sister Mars, who had been her close playmate as a small child, was harboring an especially burning jealousy for Sierra. Mars, who had always revered their queen mother, yearned for Xena's acknowledgment more than anything, to a point of obsession. So when she found out as an adolescent that little Sierra was the intended heir from the very beginning, Mars felt horribly betrayed. Suddenly, she seethed with rage, getting snappy at Sierra and avoiding her altogether. Mars holed up in her room every free moment out of lessons to work even harder on her development of a new kind of magic, and Sierra was left wondering why her cherished favorite sister would no longer talk to her.Eventually, on a particular day of playing hooky from lessons, when Sierra had snuck away to her given planet, Ascera, to play with her dinosaur friends, Mars' hatred and rage for Sierra came out in the open in the form of wanton destruction. She summoned meteors and flames which took the lives of Sierra's creations -- the animal inhabitants of Ascera; her friends. And despite Mars' eventual defeat, Sierra's body had been burnt so badly that she had been charred black to the bone.Xenian medical advancements of billions of years, and magic, guaranteed her physical recovery, but now Sierra had shut out her duties completely, barricading her room with powerful magic even Xena couldn't break through, and locking herself inside.
Never, she decided, would she be a queen.Of course, even in isolation, she needed something to do. To pass the time, she'd taken to watching over other worlds, in other universes, in her Dimensional Mirror, living vicariously through the people she saw. Eventually, she found the world of Pokémon, and a boy named Ash.This world, in particular, captivated her. Where humans and animal-like creatures lived together, competed together, forming the most beautiful bonds she'd ever seen. She found herself dying to be part of it. For the first time in millions of years, she shattered the seal on her room and burst out of it to find Xena, to beg on her knees - to let her go to this world for one hundred years, and then she fully dedicate herself to her role as princess and never ask for anything again.Xena found this intriguing. She thought for a moment; perhaps some worldly experience might benefit Sierra's insights as a princess.And so, Sierra's request was granted. She took on a new name, Himashi, for her travels in the world of Pokémon.

Sparkles

Sparkles was not "born" the way most Pikachu are.When Sierra decided she would travel to the world of Pokémon, of course, she wanted a Pikachu of her very own, just like Ash who she so admired. A Pikachu that was a girl like her, to be her destined partner.So using the bio-conjuring abilities given to her as a planet-ruling princess, she crafted a female Pikachu, in the same way she'd created the many organisms of Ascera. The girl Pikachu who had just been given life would awaken in Sierra's arms, and have a luxurious pink ribbon lovingly tied around her neck soon after. That ribbon is her pride and most treasured possession.Though Hima's antics often have Sparkles sighing and shaking her head, (sometimes, even, warranting a tail whap in the back of the head) Sparkles wouldn't trade her for the world.

I'm Hima -- yes I know that's confusing, no it's not because she's a self-insert, in truth though she Was one until I was like 15 but then ran off and became her own character but I just couldn't see her with any other name. And frankly Himashi IS a cool-ass name and I cannot top it, let's be real. (My parents did something right! Crazy innit /lh) Hima has been my oc for like...15+ years holy shit lmao so she is near and dear to me, though I understand she must seem VERY strange conceptually to others. That's fine! I am cringe but I am free.Anyway!- I'm 25+, I would rather not be followed by minors! There won't really be any explicitly 18+ content here besides in the Circle ^TM but it's just for my own comfort, sorry!- In general, please don't DM me with things like "this person you're following did x", especially if you yourself are not the victim/person affected; I don't want to deal with games of telephone, I've seen people get falsely accused and have things get blown out of proportion way too much. The only exception to this is if and only if they are an active danger to people around them and this can be proven.- I have a horrible attention span. I'm in school, I have a zillion other things I want to work on (like commissions, personal art, etc.) I also struggle with sleep apnea, ADHD and chronic fatigue, so I am going to be very much a mess when it comes to replies. Sometimes I might reply right away, sometimes I might forget for days or weeks or just completely. It's okay to poke me now and then as a reminder! Just be patient with me :'D

Hima's main ship is with my Ritchie (sparky_ritchie) but she is open to shipping with other characters as AU! I won't ship her with characters under 18, unless the thread is set earlier in her Pokémon journey where she herself was a teenager. (Meaning any "past" threads would only be set in the first 6 generations of mainline game regions)
